Visit in 2023

In October 2023 we will take a group of people to Kenya for 10 days to see the work the charity has done and work in and with the community, schools and church running workshops, teaching, and sharing their lives and experiences.

Whilst there we will make time for some social and cultural exchange with community in general and the people who have benefited from the charity. We look forward to an evening of fun with food, drink, music and dancing together. Outside of Kyangala we also plan to go on a safari to Tsavo, visit the Indian Ocean coast at Mombasa and visit Nairobi.

The cost of such a visit will be circa £ 1500-£2000 per person to be funded by the participant through personal means or by raising the money.

We have several partner churches who will also join the trip. The precise nature of the visit will be adjusted to suit the participants, their interests and skills.

Eligibility: To be eligible you must be physically fit, have a “can do” attitude, be over 18 yrs old (or be accompanied by a parent).
